• Do you have software licences for all the applications you are running?
• Are you sure your are not wasting money on renewing or upgrading software you already have licences for?
• Can you find all the essential software media in the event of a disaster?
• Can you find all the licence keys to that software?
• Do you have an internet and email policy document in place for your staff?
• Do you have a replacement policy for your IT assets?
• Have you a record of all the IT assets you hold with serial numbers?
• Are your backups working efficiently – are error logs being checked regularly and action taken?
• Are your servers covered under a maintenance contract?
• Do you have a password policy and know of all the passwords to your essential systems?

If not, your company could be at risk from legal action and/or being unable to recover from a disaster.
